About me

I obtained my PhD from the University of North Bengal, India. I have postdoctoral research experience from Umea University Sweden, Freie University (Charite University Medical Centre) Germany and Linkoping University Sweden. Presently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Postgraduate Department of Botany, Ramananda College. My works resulted in 48 peer reviewed research publications. Notable amongst them are in Nature Immunology, Immunity and Progress in Lipid Research. Besides, I have completed an institutional-funded research project. Currently, I am the PI of an externally funded (DBT, India) research project  At present, I am supervising 2 PhD students. Moreover, I have supervised a number of Masters students for their dissertation thesis.  

 

I have experience in working independently and in a team. I love to work in a multinational and multicultural collaborative environment since, I believe in garnering new skills to push my research to the next level.

I am proficient in English, Bengali and Hindi. Besides I have A2 level skills in German/Deutsch and basic knowledge of Swedish.
